Congratulations to our 2023 runner-up, Charlotte from Ysgol Uwchradd Tywyn. Charlotte used poetry and illustrations to demonstrate the physics of music. Take a look at her entry below:
My entry is a video about the physics behind music, explained with drawn images and a voice-over, which is in the form of a poem I wrote. Illustrations help depict my points and visually demonstrate how physics is involved in music and sounds as a whole. While the images are mostly simple doodles, the video explains topics such as vibrations, sound waves, pitch and frequency in a way that is not too complex but is still – of course – accurate. It has a short introduction (like many songs or pieces of music), then explains how physics is involved in music and ends with a short summary.
