My entry is called “Physics of the Flute”. I have been playing the flute for 4 years and I have often wondered how this beautiful instrument creates such varied and melodic sounds. So, this challenge has been a great opportunity for me to learn how physics powers my passion for playing the flute. I have written about how air passes through the flute to create vibrations and used equations to explain this. I have also created 3 short sound pieces to bring the equations to life.
