Highly commended: Could the Iron Man Suit Exist in Reality?

Congratulations to Ina from Surbiton High School who won the Highly Commended Award for the Aged 12 category. Ina created a video exploring the physics behind the Iron Man suit. Take a look at her cover letter below:

I have always contemplated this ever since I saw the first Iron Man film. The suit is a piece of incredibly advanced technology created by Tony Stark. He is a fictional character in a series of films known as the Marvel Cinematic Universe. In my entry, Albert Einstein is awoken from the dead and helps explain the logistics of the suit and why it’s, unfortunately, not possible, both in terms of the efficiency requirements being too close to 100% and in terms of the large amounts of energy storage necessary which would make the suit too big and clunky to wear. We are unable to recreate the dramatic flair that we see Robert Downey Jr perform and we will only be able to experience it in films. My entry, in the style of a news report, shows that physics can solve mysteries inspired by our superheroes.
